Sam Madison:  The Champs Leader

Where do you begin with Sam's accolades?  As a father of three children and family man, Sam Madison is the consummate professional, dedicated father and community leader.  Regardless of career highlights and accomplishments (of course, mentioned below), Sam tirelessly supports local communities and their youth with philanthropic efforts.  That same dedication and determination has been applied in his For Champs By Champs brand.

Currently, Sam enters his second NFL season as a coach with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 as the defensive backs/cornerbacks coach and will be appearing in his second consecutive Super Bowl with the team.

As a player, Sam played cornerback in the National Football League for 12 seasons, the first nine with the Miami Dolphins (1997-2005). Following his time in Miami, Sam played three seasons with the New York Giants (2006-08).  During his career, Sam tallied 38 interceptions and 130 pass breakups.  During the 1998 season, Madison intercepted a career-high eight passes for the Dolphins on their way to a Wild Card berth and a 24-17 playoff victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Sam intercepted four passes with the New York Giants during the 2007 season, helping lead the team to a victory in Super Bowl XLII against the previously undefeated New England Patriots. Sam and the Giants defense held New England's historic offense to 14 points in one the most shocking upsets in Super Bowl history.

As an indication of his on field success, Sam was named to four Pro Bowls (1999-2002) and two All-Pro teams (1999-2000) during his NFL career.  Following his retirement in 2008, Madison worked as a television analyst and personality for the Miami Dolphins TV Network.   Yes, personality.  Those that have the pleasure of making his acquaintance know that he is a hilarious, fun-loving entertaining guy.

He was drafted by the Dolphins in the second round (44th overall) of the 1997 NFL Draft.  He played his college football at the University of Louisville, where he excelled at defensive back. At Louisville, he played in 40 games, intercepted 15 passes and returned one for a touchdown.  Sam has also been inducted in the Kentucky football Hall of Fame.

As both a player and coach, Sam has experienced the pressure, anxiety, pain and success as one of the only NFL alum to be a Super Bowl Champ in both roles.

While enduring those same experiences, Sam has proclaimed how he has learned, enjoyed and is now preaching the soothing relief from Champs topical products including creams and roll-ons that have been providing aid for him and others throughout the season.

He said it:
